1. Crowd Management and Safety
To ensure a safe environment, the following protocols are in place:
- Flow & Capacity: Management reserves the right to redirect foot traffic or temporarily restrict access to specific areas to maintain safe flow rates and prevent overcrowding.
- Queuing: Attendees must follow the directions of stewards and security personnel when queuing. Aggressive behaviour or "jumping" queues may lead to ejection.
- Muster Points: In the event of an emergency, please remain calm and proceed to the designated Rendezvous / Muster Points as indicated on the site map and by emergency signage.
- Evacuation: In the event of an evacuation, attendees must follow all verbal and signalled instructions from event staff immediately.
2. Drugs and Prohibited Substances
We operate a zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal substances, amnesty bins will be available at the entrance.
Enforcement: Anyone found in possession of, using, or distributing illegal substances (including "legal highs" or nitrous oxide) will be refused entry or ejected and reported to the authorities.
3. Crime Prevention
- Surveillance: The event site may be monitored by CCTV and uniformed/plainclothes security teams.
- Reporting: Attendees are encouraged to report any suspicious activity to the nearest staff member.
- Liability: While we take extensive measures to prevent crime, the event organizers are not responsible for the loss or theft of personal property.
4. Violence and Personal Safety
We are committed to a safe environment free from harassment and fear.
- Zero Tolerance: Any act of physical or verbal violence will result in immediate ejection and a potential lifetime ban.
- VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls): We take a proactive stance against gender-based violence, harassment, and catcalling. Our staff will support anyone feeling threatened.
- Enforcement: We work closely with local law enforcement to ensure all violent offenders are prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
5. Alcohol and Drink Spiking
- Alcohol will be served in strict accordance with local licensing legislation.
- Licensing: We operate a "Challenge 25" policy. Valid ID is required. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone appearing intoxicated.
- Vigilance: Never leave your drink unattended. If you see suspicious behaviour near someone else's drink, alert staff immediately.
- Alleged Spiking Protocol: If you believe your drink (or a friend's) has been spiked, alert medical or security staff immediately. We will involve the police to secure evidence if a crime is suspected.
"Ask for Angela" If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, go to any bar or staff member and ask for "Angela." We will get you to a safe space or a taxi discreetly

Privacy Policy
1. You give us your data directly
When you register for an event, or make a donation we will collect details that enable us to process or establish our relationship with you.
2. You give us your data indirectly
There are various ways that we may be passed your details to enable us to fulfil your request, or if you have agreed for your information to be passed on. Many supporters use online fundraising pages such as Justgiving and Virgin Money Giving to raise sponsorship. If you agree to them sending us your details, they will do so we can contact you to say thank you.

What data we collect and why
On various occasions when you are making a donation to us, offering to volunteer, registering for an event or support us in other ways, we will always ask you for some important details such as your full name and full contact details so we can process your request or communicate with you.
However, sometimes if it is appropriate, we may ask you some further questions so we can understand more about you and so we can communicate with you about any products or services that you ask for as to improve our service to you. These details aren’t always required to fulfil a transaction but do provide helpful.
- Your date of birth
- Why you are making the donation and who you are making the donation in aid of, if required
- Other things that you may wish to hear from us about
If you are registering for an event, we may ask you additional questions which are mandatory as part of the registration process. These questions may include dietary requirements and medical information which are required to ensure we can deliver an event which is fun, enjoyable and also safe to all supporters who are taking part.
Who we share your data with:
It is our promise at DorsetNines to never share or sell your data to any third party for marketing purposes. We do share your data to organisations who work on our behalf to supply us with services that require your data to fulfil your request.
Storing and retaining your information
We will store your information on secure systems or databases operated by DorsetNines or providers contracted e.g. ticket sales and donation pages. This information will only be available to those who are authorised to access it. We will always ensure that we retain your information in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. If we feel that there is no need to retain your data, unless you have requested otherwise, your data will be archived.
Your rights regarding your data
You have the right to ask us to stop storing your personal data at any time. In some circumstances, we are required to maintain your data for legal reasons. If you wish for us to stop communicating with you we recommend that you withdraw your consent to contact. We will then archive your record and details and will no longer make contact with you.
However withdrawing your consent to receive marketing and information materials from us does not mean that we will never contact you. If we need to contact you about administrative matters in order to process a transaction or another business reason, we may be required to do so.

From time to time it might be necessary to make changes to our privacy policy. Any updates will be indicated on this policy and this will provide the most up to date and accurate information to our supporters. If we make any significant changes to how we use your data, we may contact you directly as well as making changes clear on this document.
Ticket Sales/ Donations: Our ticket vendors and donation platforms are managed by third parties. By submitting your information to these providers you are agreeing to their own terms & conditions/ Privacy policies - Dorsetnines and their sponsors have no liability for issues relating to GDPR provided to these providers.
Partnerships: South Western Ambulance and Dorset Police have no partnerships with any of the sponsors or businesses listed on the website with the exception of the 'South Western Ambulance Charity'.
